Common used in furniture, a kind of man-made veneer. A group of single veneer usually glued by same grain direction and apeak billet. Usually the surface and inside of veneer is distributed in both side of its core, and glued with direction of grains. Pressed in heated (or not) conditions. The level is in odd number, few in even number. Crossing ability has minor difference in physical performance. Usually are 3 levels, 5 levels. The veneer can improve the percentage of wood used, is a main way to save wood. Also used in pack material for plane, ship, train, truck, construction and package. |
